Brigette

Brigette Niedringhaus

has been practicing Anusara® Yoga since its inception in 1997. She is an Anusara-Inspired™ teacher and the owner of Southtown Yoga. In 2008, she was hired as Kashi's sole yoga instructor, traveling to 25 US cities on a 7-month wellness tour.  Her main teachers include Mitchel Bleier, Christina Sell and Darren Rhodes.  She also studies annually with John Friend, founder of Anusara Yoga. Her skill and passion as a teacher highly reflect her dedication as a life-long student. Her classes are as much fun as they are challenging. Brigette's clear instruction takes the fear out of the poses and empowers students to discover their full, radiant potential. Currently, Brigette teaches local classes, workshops and trainings and enjoys participating in her hometown community.

She continues to learn and evolve from the support of her own teachers. Kathryn's classes include mediation, a detailed asana work out and a guided relaxation. Sarah

Kim Winn

found yoga brightened her mind and made her feel incredible. Bikram was Kim’s first exposure to yoga six years ago. After a couple of weeks, she was absolutely hooked. Kim’s passion for dance helps explain her draw to the many styles of power yoga. Kim began teacher training 4 years ago at Yogafit and continues to study many different styles including Baptiste Power Vinyasa yoga. She also completed Southtown Yoga's 2009 teacher training with Mitchel Bleier and Brigette Niedringhaus. She lives with a yoga attitude on and off her mat. Kim loves to cook which also means she adores to eat. She also loves photography and trying new things.

Sarah

Agatha Thaller

stumbled upon yoga several years ago and immediately was inspired by the teachers, Kula and approach at Southtown Yoga. She completed her 200-hour teacher certification at Southtown Yoga with Mitchel Bleier in Nov 2009 and models her teachings around his style – a combination of vinyasa flow and precise alignment instruction. Agatha believes yoga can help shift your perspective and can empower you to be more present in your day-to-day life.

Sarah

Jill Dunlap

started practicing yoga in 1996 but it wasn’t until her move to California in 1997 that yoga became a permanent fixture in her life. In 2001, Jill completed her first 200-hour teacher training with Iyengar teacher Leann Carey in Hermosa Beach, CA. In 2007, she was introduced to Anusara Yoga and was immediately hooked on the depth of its philosophy and Principles of Alignment. Her passion for Anusara led Jill to train with some of the top Anusara teachers across the country including founder, John Friend, Desiree Rumbaugh, Sianna Sherman, and Martin and Jordan Kirk. She has amassed over 350 hours of Anusara immersion and teacher training studies. She attributes much of her love and dedication for yoga to discovering Anusara Yoga. The experience re-inspired her practice, healed her body from injuries through proper alignment and opened her heart to the Shiva-Shakti Tantric philosophy.  Jill’s welcoming approach to yoga makes it accessible to people of all experience levels.  She has the ability to challenge students to their reach their greatest potential, while still nurturing their inner heart’s desire.

Laura Keane

started practicing yoga 6 years ago and became hooked quickly.  She enjoyed the physical and mental challenges that yoga presented.  Laura believes that what we learn on the mat can me used in everyday life. In 2010, Laura completed Southtown's Teacher Training with Mitchel Bleier and Brigette Niedringhaus. Laura's style is vinyasa-based and easily accessible to all levels.  She strives to give options during class so that everyone can work to his or her own potential.  Her sense of humor and ability to laugh at herself often come out during class. Outside of the yoga studio, Laura enjoys live music, dining out with friends, and spending time with her family.
