Class Descriptions

 

Beginners This class focuses on the basic poses and breathwork.  Specific details on the poses, along with many demonstrations will be provided by the instructor.  This class is good for fresh beginners or fairly new yogis. 


Open Levels – This class is appropriate for any experience level; however, there will be fewer instructions on the details of each pose.  Open levels classes tend to be more physically challenging, yet still offer modifications. Remember, child’s pose is always an option!

 

Intermediate/Advanced – This class challenges both the physical body and the mind through a strong Vinyasa flow practice.  Requiring strength and flexibility, this class allows you to explore your fullest potential to connect the body and the breath.

 

Power Hour – This class is a challenging sixty minutes focused on the flow of the breath and the movement of the body through a sequence of postures to achieve physical and mental balance. Room heated to 85 degrees.

 

Outdoor Yoga – Throughout the summer months, outdoor yoga classes are held in Tower Grove Park (on the Kingshighway side).  This open levels class is playful, laid-back, and just plain fun.  Please bring your own mat and don’t forget sunscreen! If its raining, class will be held back at the studio.  Class cards, memberships and cash drop-ins only for outdoor yoga, please. Directions: Use the Kingshighway entrance to the park and class will be held in the area to the left.
